• Conduct tree inspections on power lines and identify potential hazards • Communicate scope of work with various stakeholders • Develop and implement strategies for managing vegetation around power lines • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure the safety and reliability of the power grid • Keep accurate records of inspections and maintenance activities
• Valid Driver License and Clean driving record • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required • Ability to identify local tree species, diagnose defects/diseases, and determine growth rates • Understanding of utility infrastructure • Ability to read and follow maps • Excellent written and oral communication • Excellent attention to data requirements and technical detail • Proficiency with electronic devices and systems, such as mobile devices, GIS programs, MS Excel/Word • Ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather • ISA Certified Arborist preferred • Experience in vegetation management and tree inspections preferred • Strong communication and problem-solving skills preferred • Ability to work independently and in a team environment preferred
