📋 Description

• Participate in a one-year fellowship program in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics • Apply model-informed strategies and advanced simulation technologies to accelerate drug development • Conduct clinical pharmacology work using modeling and simulation tools • Develop scientific machine learning pharmacodynamic models and autoencoder generative machine learning models • Apply AI/Machine Learning or Large Language Models to large clinical datasets • Participate in developing predictive models • Develop QSP, PBPK, and PK/PD models using software tools and R • Review and capture literature sources used in modeling • Develop, verify, and validate semi-mechanistic models supporting drug development • Apply AI/Large Language Models to analysis and reporting for accelerated drug development • Attend department meetings to gain exposure to the drug development process • No supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• PhD or MS required • Curriculum vitae (CV) and unofficial college transcript required when applying • Open to pharmaceutical scientists and AI engineers • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to apply AI/Machine Learning or Large Language Models to large clinical datasets • Ability to develop predictive models • Proficiency or ability to develop proficiency with QSP, PBPK, and PK/PD modeling tools • R programming language for data management • Flexible start date
