📋 Description

• Perform full duties and responsibilities as a Data Scientist / Analyst for the Aviation Cost Evaluation System (ACES) program • Design, develop, and deploy models to support real-time decision-making • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms for operational challenges • Build and optimize analytics workflows within Advana and Jupiter • Create dashboards and visualizations using Databricks, PySpark, Tableau, or Power BI • Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and subject matter experts to translate requirements into solutions • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance • Automate data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large-scale datasets • Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations • Work with multiple data sources and accurately collect, transform, and load data • Clean and preprocess data • Apply statistical techniques to interpret and validate trends, patterns, and anomalies • Prepare reports and presentations for non-technical stakeholders • Learn ACES functional concepts, business processes, and applications • Formulate, document, and follow specifications for programming, testing, and debugging • Maintain and update documentation of database activities • Communicate issues, status updates, recommendations, and reports • Take ownership of assignments and issues, manage and resolve them, and lead small groups

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Secret clearance required to start • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including Advana and Jupiter platforms • Proven experience with data analysis and visualization tools • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data • Databricks proficiency • Proficiency in data cleaning, transformation, and statistical analysis • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment • Strong problem-solving skills • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Mathematics • Ability to self-manage tasks in a remote team-oriented environment
