📋 Description

• Support Military Sealift Command’s routine maintenance logistics support and planning efforts • Support the depot-level overhaul engineering planning team and Repair Planning Cell (RPC) • Review ship availability work packages to identify materials, equipment, and services required for Government-Furnished requirements • Prepare and submit procurement packages, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and compliance standards • Monitor procurement actions and resolve issues that could delay delivery of materials and equipment • Maintain accurate GFM/GFE listings for each vessel availability work package • Develop and maintain tracking systems for GFM/GFE delivery schedules • Coordinate with ILS and MSC N4 Logistics representatives regarding delivery timelines and delays • Analyze and maintain GFM reports and communicate procurement progress to PPE and APC teams • Escalate missing or delayed GFM issues and collaborate on alternative procurement options • Collaborate with APC teams to address support needs and update project schedules • Manage procurement-related communication, documentation, and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Secret Clearance • High school diploma and 7+ years of experience; Associates degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience • Proven experience in data entry and logistics functions in a related field • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other relevant contractual requirements • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Familiarity with Military Sealift Command Logistics processes • Knowledge of relevant government contracting regulations • Desired: Strong data entry skills and experience with the Shipboard Automated Maintenance Management (SAMM) database • Desired: Experience with MSC Logistics software including CMLS, PMT, Protrack, and ShipCLIP • Desired: Experience with MSC logistics processes including Material and Service Order Requests, ERP functions, SPS contracting, and GFM Reporting
