• Perform contract accounting and reporting • Provide project schedule focus to management • Track annual fiscal plans and monthly updates • Perform payroll/personnel processing and maintenance/reporting • Handle contract administration, purchasing, facility leasing, and service administration • Maintain contract budgets and prepare contract billing • Estimate materials, equipment, production costs, and delivery schedules • Comply with financial controls, procedures, system requirements, and forecasting techniques • Monitor program requirements and cost performance against plans • Perform financial and administrative reporting for contracts and programs • Prepare and distribute financial and administrative reports to customers and user organizations • Conduct variance, risk, and profit/loss analyses • Set up projects to capture costs, recognize revenue, and bill customers • Maintain project setup compliance and update project information • Prepare forecasts • Perform project financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, project status reports, PMR reports, funding notifications, estimates to complete, estimates at completion, forecast and budget reports, invoice backup reports, and client-specific reports • Review timecards, travel vouchers, payment allocations, and funding statements for policy compliance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related field • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project related finance using financial management software (Deltek, ORACLE ERP, SAP) • Must be well experienced with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PIVOT Tables, etc.) • Must be able to build forecast from the ground up including application of wrap rates and correct burdens • Must be able to build reports and charts based on verbal guidance for various internal and external requirements • Must be able to analyze plans, forecasts, actual costs, variances and communicate trends to the program, line, and financial management • Must be able to prepare adjusting journal entries, reconcile various types of accounts and invoices in a timely manner • Ability to work independently as well as with a team • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, IBM COGNOS, and Oracle CAPS & Smartview, MS PowerPoint, and PowerBI • Experience with Time & Material Contract Type • Experience with Firm Fixed Price Contracts
