📋 Description

• Build, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain the implementation of a new Tenable architecture for the Department of the Air Force in an Azure cloud environment • Develop, improve, and maintain cloud infrastructure for the Tenable Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) • Implement Azure cloud infrastructure, including Azure Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines • Work with Red Hat Linux, Tenable software solutions, and scripting languages including Python and PowerShell • Troubleshoot and investigate issues to understand root causes • Aid in development of the Project Integrated Master Schedule with the ACAS Engineering Lead • Identify technical continuous improvements and project execution efficiencies • Develop and implement improvements to existing processes and practices • Develop topology and flow diagrams with technical staff • Develop and brief solution presentation material to internal, program, and Engineering teams • Develop automation scripts and code efficiencies • Perform and maintain an Enterprise Red Hat Linux Operating Infrastructure with RHEL Satellite and RHEL Ansible integrations • Deploy and maintain Kubernetes containers within Azure and VMware hypervisors • Work with the ACAS Solution Architect, Chief Architect, and Chief Engineer; report to the ACAS Project Manager • Pass Department of the Air Force internal Gate Reviews without rejection • Implement identified process improvements per quarter

🎯 Requirements

• Must have an active Secret security clearance • 12+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience) • 7+ years of experience with cloud environments, Azure preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience • Azure Administrator or Developer certification, or higher • 5+ years of experience with Tenable products • 3+ years of experience deploying, automating, and hardening Red Hat Linux Operating Systems • 3+ years of experience working directly with Kubernetes or containers • 3+ years of experience securing systems by following STIGs, best practices, and government/compliance requirements such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FISMA, and FEDRAMP • Experience negotiating/working with IA personnel to arrive at sensible and effective solutions • Experience supporting the Department of Defense • Excellent communication skills with experience briefing internal project team members and DAF stakeholders • One of the following certifications: CISSP or equivalent DoD 8140 Certification Compliance
