📋 Description

• Execute manual test cases for Momentum Financials across multiple environments • Analyze business requirements, user stories, and design documents to develop and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts • Validate end-to-end business processes, including GL, AP, AR, Budget Execution, and Procure-to-Pay • Perform regression testing after enhancements, defect fixes, and releases • Identify, document, and track defects using approved tools • Collaborate with developers, functional teams, functional leads, and business stakeholders on defect resolution, requirements clarification, and test coverage • Support the Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) team • Participate in test planning and test readiness reviews • Ensure testing complies with VA quality assurance standards and documentation requirements • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, templates, and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen • Experience with Momentum Financials • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience • 3 years of experience in a customer support role or testing role, focused on functional and regression testing • Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC), testing methodologies, and defect management processes • Experience developing and executing test cases based on business and functional requirements • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM • Ability to analyze complex business processes and validate system behavior against requirements • Ability to identify data discrepancies and system issues • Experience documenting test results and defects • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Desired: knowledge of federal financial management processes, IV&V team experience, automated testing tools or frameworks, Agile methodologies, configuration management, and release processes
