📋 Description

• Execute manual test cases for Momentum Financials across multiple environments • Analyze business requirements, user stories, and design documents to develop and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts • Validate end-to-end business processes, including core federal financial functions such as GL, AP, AR, Budget Execution, and Procure-to-Pay • Perform regression testing after enhancements, defect fixes, and releases • Identify, document, and track defects using approved tools • Work closely with developers and functional teams to support defect resolution and retesting • Collaborate with functional leads, developers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage • Support the Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) team • Participate in test planning and test readiness reviews • Ensure testing activities comply with VA quality assurance standards and documentation requirements • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, templates, and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen • Must have experience with Momentum Financials • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 3 years of experience in a customer support role or testing role, with a focus on functional and regression testing • Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC), testing methodologies, and defect management processes • Experience developing and executing test cases based on business and functional requirements • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM) • Ability to analyze complex business processes and validate system behavior against requirements • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies and system issues • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience documenting test results and defects • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Strong knowledge of federal financial management processes (e.g., USSGL, Budget, AR, etc.) is desired • Experience supporting or interacting with IV&V teams is desired • Exposure to automated testing tools or frameworks is desired • Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in sprint ceremonies is desired • Knowledge of configuration management and release processes is desired
