📋 Description

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process • Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies • Review and improve accounting processes for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability • Research and document accounting treatment for complex transactions • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures • Lead annual financial statement audits and coordinate with external auditors • Strengthen and maintain the internal control environment • Design and implement scalable controls to support company growth • Prepare audit schedules, documentation, and management responses • Support private equity financial reporting and strategic growth initiatives • Develop scalable financial processes, reporting structures, and KPI frameworks • Assist with board, lender, and investor reporting • Support accounting due diligence and post-acquisition accounting integration • Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and reporting for acquired businesses • Coordinate purchase accounting and financial system integration • Evaluate, implement, and optimize accounting and ERP systems • Lead finance technology initiatives and automation efforts • Use data and reporting tools to improve visibility and decision-making • Mentor and develop accounting team members • Collaborate with finance, operations, HR, IT, and executive leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required • CPA designation required • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience • 3+ years in a leadership or management role • Experience scaling accounting processes in rapidly growing companies • Demonstrated experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and business integrations • Strong background in audit management and internal controls • Experience leading ERP implementations, financial system upgrades, or accounting automation initiatives • Deep knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements • Strong general ledger and close process expertise • Experience with ERP and financial management systems • Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience within private equity-backed or high-growth organizations strongly preferred • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools preferred
