📋 Description

• Perform mid-level design and drafting functions under general supervision • Create and modify project deliverables, including drawings, models, and plans, based on instructions and design inputs • Perform dimensional checks to ensure design accuracy • Estimate material requirements for projects • Coordinate tasks among teams working on the same project • Improve design methods, guides, and standards • Follow company standards, project systems, document control policies, and procedures • Use the company Quality Program to ensure accurate, compliant work • Provide technical guidance to other designers and drafters as appropriate • Support internal team members while learning how external clients operate

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of direct experience in professional drafting services • Preference for experience in the electric utility industry • Proficiency using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit to create, develop, and modify technical drawings and models from initial design inputs • Intermediate knowledge and use of standards and document control processes/procedures • Associates degree or better in Drafting & Design preferred • Technical/other training or equivalent experience
