• Perform functions in a mid-level Designer capacity under general supervision • Create and modify deliverables using project standards and document control processes • Stay current on project standards, systems, document control procedures, and company policies • Apply Quality Program knowledge to ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant • Support continuous improvement of guides and standards • Evaluate and improve design methods, processes, and procedures • Create and develop deliverables from varied design inputs • Perform material quantity estimates and dimensional checks • Assist in coordinating deliverables among teams on the same project • Provide technical guidance to other Designers as appropriate • Focus on the needs of internal clients while developing an understanding of external clients
• Typically a minimum of 2 years of related work experience • Intermediate knowledge and use of standards and document control processes/procedures • Knowledge of project standards, systems, document control, and department/company policies and procedures • Understanding of Quality Program application • Ability to create and develop deliverables from varied design inputs • Ability to perform material quantity estimates and dimensional checks • Preferred associate degree or better in Drafting & Design • Technical/other training or better in equivalent experience
