📋 Description

• Perform conventional power generation design engineering and analysis • Act as a technical specialist and provide technical guidance on low- to medium-complexity projects • Develop, validate, and present technical output • Learn and apply departmental design guides, standards, systems, engineering codes, and company policies • Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives • Understand client interests and communicate them to project teams • Attend and lead internal and external client meetings, conference calls, and client site visits • Support business development by providing technical information for sales proposals • Support project teams and clients with data requests, site visits, project execution clarification, and comment review • Coordinate work details and task sequencing with internal staff, project managers, clients, and other disciplines • Collect, assimilate, and manage engineering data • Research and recommend equipment and materials • Prepare engineering deliverables, contract documents, project documents, studies, and complex calculations • Identify and resolve problems within assigned areas or projects • Monitor budget, schedule, scope, resource planning, and quality requirements • Assist with contract administration, project management administration, and scope-of-work package development • Complete expense reports and timesheets accurately and on time

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or better in Engineering • Professional Engineer license/certification required • 3+ years of direct work in Power Generation • Related work experience demonstrating continuous growth and knowledge expansion • Experience delivering 3–5 multifaceted construction projects simultaneously • Experience overseeing technical aspects of projects and providing guidance and mentorship to project resources • Familiarity with engineering concepts, practices, procedures, design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and quality programs • Ability to prepare complex engineering calculations, contract documents, project documents, and studies • Ability to understand and adhere to project budget, schedule, scope, and quality requirements
