📋 Description

• Prepare monthly accounting, including bank reconciliation, general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement for a growing CPA firm specializing in financial planning to national clientele • Prepare accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports • Establish records of accounts and input entries into proper accounts • Document and maintain financial records using current technologies • Prepare month-end journal entries and assist in compiling financial statements • Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers • Complete monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including capital projects in progress and miscellaneous revenue accounts • Provide first-line monthly accounting services • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reconcile bank and credit card accounts • Assess general ledger accuracy • Prepare after-the-fact payroll summaries and record journal entries • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to supporting documents • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations when preparing year-end Forms 1096 and 1099 • Work with clients as needed to complete financial statements • Manage multiple clients and organize supporting documents • Ensure timely financial reports for clients and planning teams while meeting department production goals

🎯 Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting field required • Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred • Multi-client CPA firm experience preferred • QuickBooks software experience preferred • Proficient in both Microsoft Word and Excel • Act as a team player and demonstrate a positive attitude • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Our Firm does not currently provide sponsorship for employment visa status • Willingness to consent to pre-employment screening relevant to the role
