📋 Description
• Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and concludes claims under supervision • Conducts investigations of claims including taking recorded statements and obtaining relevant information • Applies provisions of policy contracts and interprets coverage • Evaluates claims exposure and determines appropriate reserves • Negotiates settlements on assigned claims • Communicates effectively with policyholders and vendors about claims processes • Maintains accurate documentation of claims files
🎯 Requirements
• Knowledge of investigation and negotiation techniques • Homeowner and comparative negligence concepts • Fraud recognition and coverage questions (2+ years required or 1+ year with related experience) • Experience using Xactimate (required) • State insurance licensing is required
