📋 Description

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with realtors, builders, industry professionals, past clients, and personal networks • Consult with clients, complete loan applications, answer questions, and provide guidance throughout the mortgage process • Evaluate borrower needs and financial information to recommend appropriate loan products, rates, and financing options • Manage the loan pipeline from application through closing • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time • Provide timely loan updates and set clear expectations with borrowers, Realtors, referral partners, and internal support teams • Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and other team members to address questions and resolve challenges • Maintain knowledge of mortgage products, rates, investor requirements, underwriting guidelines, and origination processes • Meet with clients and referral partners and represent Equity Resources within the local market • Follow applicable federal and state regulations, company policies, and lending requirements • Deliver knowledgeable, responsive, and personalized service to borrowers and referral partners

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer/Originator • Active state-specific mortgage license(s), or ability to complete required national and state testing and obtain applicable licensing within the required timeframe • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience • Strong knowledge of conventional and government lending guidelines • Knowledge of federal lending regulations • Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures • Proven sales and customer service skills • Strong judgment, problem-solving, mathematical, organizational, and computer skills • High level of accuracy • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and all levels of the organization • Self-motivated and team-oriented • Strong desire to succeed and excel in a competitive environment
