📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain complex data models, dashboards, and reports supporting organizational and program-level decision-making • Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses relevant to behavioral health programs and operations • Translate analytical findings into summaries and visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences • Collaborate with program, operations, and leadership teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions • Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, methodology notes, and reporting specifications • Monitor data quality and integrity, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues cross-functionally • Support development and refinement of KPIs and metrics frameworks • Participate in evaluation, implementation, and optimization of data tools, platforms, and pipelines • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to data standards and best practices • Stay current on data analytics, health informatics, and public behavioral health trends • Report findings and escalate data quality or methodology concerns to leadership • Responsibly access confidential county records, employee demographic information, and private behavioral health information while maintaining system integrity and security

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, data science, computer science and/or a related field, and a minimum of four years of qualifying informatics and analytics experience, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience • Master’s-level training preferred • Experience architecting data models and pipelines supporting multiple downstream analyses and visualizations • Ability to design and build advanced dashboarding and reporting solutions, such as Power BI • Ability to interpret complex datasets and independently select and apply appropriate statistical techniques and coding languages • Ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and translate findings into actionable recommendations • Ability to evaluate and prioritize data product use cases based on impact and feasibility • Advanced experience with data modeling, database development, and management • Ability to exercise independent judgment and adapt to shifting demands • Emotional intelligence and ability to build trust and influence across teams • Strong communication and management skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders • Ability to identify and securely handle confidential and sensitive information • Advanced proficiency with SQL and Microsoft Power BI is required • Knowledge of Tableau and ArcGIS Pro preferred • Experience with Excel, R, or Python preferred • Databricks experience highly preferred • Ability to communicate effectively with varied audiences • Ability to work with little or no supervision and demonstrate excellent analytical and research skills • Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting and carrying materials up to 20 pounds and driving a motor vehicle on public roads and highways
