📋 Description

• Own financial reporting for multiple dealerships, including income statements, balance sheets, and other financial analysis • Perform monthly closing • Prepare annual budgets • Manage accruals and deferrals • Prepare journal entries • Perform bank reconciliations • Perform floor plan reconciliations • Analyze and track balance sheet accounts, including prepaid, inventory, liabilities, and fixed assets • Analyze and track income statement accounts, including revenue, cost, and expenses • Train local office managers in accounting processes • Analyze and reconcile balances with other dealerships within the company • Develop new processes, policies, and procedures to transition to a professionalized accounting environment

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment • Leadership and problem-solving ability • Ability to learn quickly • Undergraduate degree in Accounting • 5+ years of experience in public or industry accounting required • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Knowledge of GAAP • Attention to detail • Ability to handle a complicated workload • Willingness to travel occasionally; travel is minimal but sometimes required • Ability to hold up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
