📋 Description

• Work on Canva's Ecosystem platform connecting AI systems to visual design • Drive decisions and alignment across Partners and Canva engineering • Set technical direction for external platform • Ground partner conversations in working code • Drive product-line engineering across MCP, REST APIs, and Apps-in-Canva • Shape strategic partner and customer engagements • Carry platform direction outward early

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience • Experience in roles operating at the seam between partner engineering, platform engineering, and product • Experience building developer platforms • Experience shipping code in production on platforms used by external developers • Proficiency in TypeScript • Comfortable across front-end (React) and server-side JavaScript • Ability to read a Java backend even if you don't want to write one • Experience turning ambiguous partner signal into crisp engineering decisions
