📋 Description

• Identify business challenges and improvement opportunities through analysis and make strategic or tactical recommendations • Perform modeling and analytics to support new product and pricing strategies for lending products • Support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic intent for retail-channel products • Build targeted insights for new customer experiences, technology, concepts, and go-to-market strategies • Improve credit performance by analyzing historical behavior, creating risk models, testing hypotheses, and monitoring results • Frame problems, develop and test hypotheses, analyze results, develop solutions, assess operational feasibility, lead implementation, and create monitoring plans • Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other Capital One colleagues to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability • Drive cross-functional projects supporting business growth and success

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, or an MBA with a quantitative concentration; degree must be obtained by the scheduled start date • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in statistical model building • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in market research • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in SQL querying • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in business analysis • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in consulting • Proven track record of analytics-based decision-making and problem-solving • Strong quantitative orientation • Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity • Impeccable written and oral communication skills • Strategic influencing, interpersonal, negotiation, and agreement-building skills • Results orientation and ability to execute in uncertain, fluid environments • Successful track record in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environments • Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization
