📋 Description

• Coordinate receipt, investigation, and resolution of discrimination in service delivery cases • Support and conduct investigations of lower-moderate acuity civil rights and language access complaints • Escalate moderate or complex cases to Civil Rights Leadership • Identify, analyze, mitigate, and prevent civil rights-related risk • Maintain confidential complaint, investigation, and resolution documentation • Track, analyze, and report civil rights and language access complaints • Coordinate collection and validation of patient demographic data • Support preparation and submission of the Wisconsin State Civil Rights Compliance Plan • Contribute to annual civil rights teammate training and targeted remedial training • Participate in enterprise-wide committees, workgroups, and civil rights initiatives • Maintain compliance files and documentation for audits • Maintain the Civil Rights SharePoint site • Monitor changes to applicable laws, regulations, rules, and policies • Partner with Clinical Risk, Patient Experience, Teammate Relations, and Patient Advocacy teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, legal studies, healthcare administration, or related clinical discipline • 3 or more years of cumulative experience in civil rights, disability rights, investigations, clinical or administrative health care, and policy/program development • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and provide expert consultation on complex civil rights, disability rights, and cultural equity issues • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to investigate and resolve civil rights complaints through collaborative problem-solving, mediation, and policy-informed decision-making • Demonstrated cultural and racial competency • Skilled in multidisciplinary collaboration and managing multiple projects • Knowledge of ADA, Section 1557, Title VI, and CMS requirements • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to learn and use EHR platforms, incident tracking systems, and compliance dashboards • Familiarity with health care delivery systems, patient rights, and program implementation • Ability to present professionally and communicate across all organizational levels • No relocation, sponsorship, or transfer of visa available • Preferred: 5 years of progressively responsible experience in civil rights, disability rights, healthcare equity, or related fields
