📋 Description

• Support and optimize symplr Time & Attendance and Staff Scheduling systems • Partner with clinical, operational, HR, payroll, and IT teams • Focus on workforce scheduling, staffing operations, system integrations, and ERP quality assurance • Perform system integration testing and user acceptance testing, including defect management • Design and develop technical and non-technical solutions for moderate to complex business needs • Gather, compile, and review information and data; evaluate existing systems and procedures • Develop tools and improvements using existing software packages and coordinate new functionality and applications • Assist with conversion and operational support planning for multiple simultaneous projects • Manage training when applicable • Analyze requirements and designs affecting Epic and third-party applications and recommend solutions • Perform systems analysis, design, configuration, testing, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting • Respond to user calls and explain application software and related systems • Communicate project requirements, impacts, changes, enhancements, training, and support needs to users and technical teams • Serve as liaison between business communities and IT to deliver technical solutions • Evaluate vendor offerings and software enhancements for adherence to technical standards • Analyze clinical and business operations to identify process automation opportunities • Assist with business process redesign and documentation; contribute to buy-versus-build and feasibility studies • Prepare project plans, scopes, resource plans, schedules, timelines, and budget estimates • Coordinate system development, implementation, operation, maintenance, documentation, reporting, queries, forms, and screens • Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and data integrity

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field • Typically requires 5 years of experience working on moderate to complex business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing, and documentation • Experience with symplr, UKG, Workday, Kronos, or similar workforce management platforms in a healthcare environment preferred • Proficient in applications, operating systems, databases, hardware, platforms, connectivity, and interface design • Proficient at specifying user requirements and documenting user needs, outcomes, and procedures • Strong project management skills and ability to use project management software • Ability to work with minimal supervision, balance multiple tasks, set priorities, and guide team members • Organizational, analytical, technical problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Ability to work with health care application users, vendors, and technical professionals • Proficient in translating user requirements into system specifications • Understanding of change management practices and procedures • Demonstrated understanding of technical components and their relationship to applications • Must be able to sit up to 80% of each workday • Must be able to perform fine hand manipulation using a computer keyboard • Must be able to perform work-related travel • Must operate all equipment necessary to perform the job
