📋 Description

• Provide support for pharmacy financial, operational, and clinical data analytics • Support Associate Directors in interpreting and analyzing data results • Provide ongoing reports • Develop and implement databases and data collection systems • Develop data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality • Extract data from primary or secondary data sources • Maintain databases and complex data systems • Filter and clean data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs and improvement opportunities • Initiate and implement Medical Center and departmental resource management initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Master's degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy is required • Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy • Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California • Proven experience as a data analyst or business data analyst • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques • Working knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Tableau, Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript etc) • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc) • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings • Ability to apply current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical principals for the selection drug products in a clinical setting • Ability to learn and adapt to the use of automated information systems • Ability to develop and implement cost containment measures and new revenue sources • Ability to develop and implement quality control and performance improvement measures • Ability to make recommendations, develop programs and support business operations planning • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to serve as preceptor in teaching programs • Ability to prioritize work flow • Knowledge of law, regulations and standards relative to institutional pharmacy practice • Maintains knowledge of emerging healthcare issues relevant to pharmacy practice
