📋 Description
• Provides billing support to Patient Financial Services • Reviews and submits claims to third party payors • Performs account follow-up activities • Updates information on accounts • Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with clients and patients • Serves as liaison between services and departments • Ensures timely resolution of outstanding issues
🎯 Requirements
• High school graduate or GED required. College level courses in finance, business, or health insurance preferred. • A minimum of 1 year of hospital or professional billing and/or collections experience required. • Medicare/managed care follow-up experience a plus.
