📋 Description

• Document moderately to complex business requirements, data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements for enterprise data intelligence projects • Create specifications for reports and analyses based on business and clinical needs and available or required data elements • Produce datasets, reports, ad-hoc requests, dashboards, and analytic solutions • Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis and report patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers • Write moderately complex SQL code and queries • Triage data-request intake, understand business needs, train end-users and staff, and make recommendations • Analyze healthcare business requests and apply critical thinking to solve challenges • Perform complex report and data analysis with support from senior team members, vendors, and EIS contacts • Participate in workflow-process re-engineering with end-users and business owners • Document clinical/business operations, processes, workflows, dependencies, issues, and complex concepts for stakeholders • Provide subject matter expertise and training; participate in interviews and onboarding • Identify cross-functional and integrated project risks and provide leadership to deliver work on time • Apply knowledge of build concepts, Epic migration paths, change control governance, and ticket management • Lead process and requirements analysis, process mapping, requirements elicitation, stakeholder analysis, and specification gathering on complex projects • Serve as primary vendor-support contact for complex projects and manage external-vendor relationships • Prepare organized status reporting and coordinate team members in gathering information • Lead quality assurance and complex integrated testing initiatives and manage testing projects • Contribute options and tradeoffs to strategy discussions • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (minimum) • 5 years of experience working with healthcare information management systems and/or clinical operations for external candidates; 4 years for internal candidates who completed the EDI Data Quality and Governance training program • 5 years of experience writing SQL statements and accessing relational database systems for external candidates; 4 years for internal candidates who completed the EDI Data Quality and Governance training program • 5 years of experience with analytic business intelligence tools such as Crystal, Business Objects, SAS, and Tableau for external candidates; 4 years for internal candidates who completed the EDI Data Quality and Governance training program • EPIC Certification upon hire preferred • Master's degree in an appropriate field highly desirable • Coursework or background in statistics preferred
