📋 Description

• Create and maintain reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders, with clear visualizations and explanations • Use BI tools and data analytics software to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights • Conduct data analysis to generate meaningful insights from datasets • Write and execute ad-hoc and standard SSRS reports documenting analysis results • Use SQL, MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Power BI to work with large volumes of data • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business data analysis needs and goals • Develop, analyze, and evaluate business needs to improve workflow processes • Troubleshoot Business Intelligence tool problems and tune performance, optimization, and usability • Ensure accuracy and validity of datasets and reports • Organize, classify, and synthesize data into fundamental issues • Identify logical outcomes, options, and solutions from collected data • Develop and maintain applications and automation scripts using Visual Basic (VB) • Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• This position is for only current Arizona residents • Experience with SQL and Excel • Data analytics experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience is required • Training, coursework, and work experience relevant to the assignment • Knowledge of software development processes, including requirements and technical design analysis, development, system and user testing, problem resolution, and planning • Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) • Knowledge of using a PC in a Windows environment • Knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visual Basic, and PowerPoint • Knowledge of Google Suite applications including Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and Drive • Effective organization and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in high-pressure situations • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access, and SQL • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills • Effective synthesis of feedback and adjustment accordingly • Visual Basic (VB) skills preferred • Interest in AI tools and aptitude for working in environments that leverage AI technologies • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision • Ability to work confidentially and share information appropriately • Ability to solve problems using analytical skills and relevant data • Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency • Willingness and ability to embody ADOR's core values
