📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to operational, clinical, and executive leadership • Partner with service line leaders, practice managers, physician leaders, and department directors • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes • Develop financial models for strategic initiatives and operational decisions • Prepare monthly financial reports, performance dashboards, and management reports • Analyze variances between actual, budget, and forecasted results • Identify risks and opportunities affecting financial performance • Serve as the primary finance liaison for assigned departments, clinics, service lines, or business units • Translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations • Support operational, productivity, and financial objectives • Analyze staffing, labor productivity, volumes, reimbursement, and expense trends • Identify cost reduction and revenue enhancement opportunities • Support corrective action plans for unfavorable variances • Monitor performance against key performance indicators • Prepare business cases for new programs, services, providers, capital investments, and facility expansions • Conduct ROI, breakeven, profitability, trend, bridge, and scenario analyses • Evaluate physician recruitment and compensation financial impacts • Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives • Ensure financial data integrity and accuracy • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership • Perform other duties as assigned • Comply with Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or another related field required; Master's in Business Administration/Management preferred • Minimum 5 years of progressive finance FP&A, healthcare finance, or business analysis experience required • Minimum 1 year of experience within a health system, physician enterprise, ambulatory network, or hospital setting preferred • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting operational leaders and executive decision-making preferred • CPA or CHFP certification preferred • Advanced Excel and spreadsheet analysis skills • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and provider productivity metrics • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Strong understanding of budgets, forecasting, and management reporting
