📋 Description

• Implement and maintain corporate security and mature CareOregon’s security model • Evaluate, architect, and implement information security policies and systems • Design and maintain security technologies including firewalls, proxy systems, logging, and other security devices • Provide advanced security technology knowledge and consult on projects • Advise IS teams on security design best practices • Execute ticket and service-request tasks from basic to advanced activities • Analyze business needs and research and recommend solutions, risks, and mitigations • Build, run, and review information security performance and event-anomaly reports • Make system adjustments and identify security gaps based on findings • Develop and maintain technology design and operations documentation • Propose information security requirements and standards • Review systems for compliance with established standards • Develop and maintain information security policies • Integrate network engineers into the development and management of security policies and systems • Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives • Develop, monitor, and maintain electronic data exchanges with outside entities • Maintain service contracts and licensing and monitor vendor SLA adherence • Escalate vendor issues as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering information security solutions and related services • Experience with WAN firewalls, load balancers and proxies • Experience designing, configuring, and supporting a network DMZ • Experience developing secure collaboration solutions for external partners or affiliates • Experience combining computer security with risk analysis, audit, and compliance objectives • Knowledge of ITIL concepts and practices • Palo Alto Firewalls experience preferred • Preferred certifications include CISSP, GIAC certifications, CCSP, CISM, and/or Microsoft Security certifications • Knowledge of Vulnerability Management systems and processes • Knowledge of Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) systems • Advanced skills in data loss prevention (DLP), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) • Advanced troubleshooting of system performance issues and root cause • Advanced knowledge of network transport protocols and industry standards • Ability to program using scripting languages such as Python, Powershell, VB, and C++ • Strong process-oriented approach with awareness or knowledge of ITIL concepts • Effective communication, analytical, research, project management, vendor management, and organizational skills • Ability to recommend policies, document risks, and propose solutions to information technology management and senior leadership • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and lead teams without oversight • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups • Ability to see, read, and perform repetitive finger and wrist movement for at least 6 hours/day • Ability to hear and speak clearly for at least 3–6 hours/day • Ability to occasionally work outside standard office hours
