📋 Description

• Lead large-scale, complex projects or programs using project management and LEAN principles and techniques • Manage all project lifecycle stages, including scoping, planning, management, and implementation • Lead technology-focused projects supporting integrated, enterprise-wide initiatives and programs • Liaise with internal and external partners, contractors, and stakeholders • Facilitate collaboration, consensus building, and accountability • Develop project plans covering components, communications, milestones, priorities, needs, and resources • Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings to identify needs and build consensus • Analyze business needs to identify technical solutions and process impacts • Monitor and communicate project status to sponsors, business owners, and stakeholders • Prepare presentations and reports on project status and relevant information • Represent the organization regarding project status and strategic alignment • Identify project barriers and mitigate or avoid them • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, policies, laws, rules, and regulations • Apply advanced change management techniques to facilitate project adoption • Track program and large-scale project costs and variances • Develop and recommend operational processes and process improvements, including supporting information systems • Maintain project records, documentation, and reports • Close project files and review documentation at completion • Evaluate progress and challenges after implementation and identify improvement opportunities • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance for implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of internal systems, technology, and analytics • Participate in business-unit planning, performance metrics, cross-departmental initiatives, and policy and procedure development

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ related experience, including minimum 5 years managing projects • Independent leadership of medium and large-scale projects, with occasional enterprise-wide complex projects • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading information systems projects, including complex projects • Scrum, Agile, and/or PMI Project Management certification preferred • 3 or more years’ experience in health plan operations preferred • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the health care or managed care industry preferred • Thorough knowledge of project management and organizational change management principles, methods, and techniques • Working knowledge of healthcare and health insurance policies, principles, and practices • Advanced understanding of multiple health plan functions and system implications • Advanced knowledge of agile and waterfall project management frameworks • Ability to apply Lean, PDSA, or Six Sigma process improvement techniques • Expertise developing detailed project plans aligned with timelines and budgets • Advanced ability to lead cross-functional partners and management • Ability to manage multiple activities, matrixed teams, communications, and competing priorities • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, collaboration, and project planning systems • Resource planning and negotiation skills • Health insurance or related-industry information systems expertise preferred • Excellent communication, documentation, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups • Ability to see, read, and perform repetitive finger and wrist movements for at least 6 hours/day • Ability to hear and speak clearly for at least 3–6 hours/day • Must reside in Oregon or Southwest Washington
