📋 Description

• Compile and analyze financial information, including evaluations of potential investments, divestitures, contracts, product lines, and cost-saving initiatives • Analyze monthly department reports to maintain expenditure controls and identify trends affecting future financial requirements • Prepare and review integrated financial analyses and reports for management • Conduct post-implementation reviews where necessary • Identify trends, develop competitive analyses, and present findings to senior management • Analyze financial trends, costs, revenues, commitments, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses • Communicate the financial impacts of decisions to management • Develop expense projections supporting forecasts and budgets; monitor monthly variances • Improve internal analysis processes in line with organizational goals • Lead initiatives improving internal controls and financial reporting • Lead implementation of new financial reporting procedures, including for new or changed programs • Lead and direct implementation of new financial reporting-related systems • Assist management in ensuring estimates are complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and contractual commitments • Support quarterly reviews, forecasting, and annual budgeting within Corporate Finance • Ensure integrity of analysis information and maintain current knowledge of the computer information system • Maintain revenue and/or expense reporting in the organization's financial software • Review and adjust expense allocations to products and communicate changes to P&L owners • Work with leadership on monthly board and audit presentations • Support the five-year strategic plan and pro forma work for new business opportunities with leadership and Business Development • Analyze turnover, attrition, open positions, and impacts on salary and compensation line items • Review vendor spend and ensure accountability against forecasts and plans • Mentor and coach new associates • Perform other duties as requested

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in accounting, finance, economics, computer sciences or related field or equivalent work experience is required • Six (6) years of related experience in accounting/finance is required • Intermediate proficiency level with Microsoft Office • Familiarity with a variety of financial concepts, practices and procedures • Ability to lead and direct the work of others • Wide degree of creativity and latitude; independent judgment required • Decision-making and analytical/problem-solving skills for complicated tasks • Critical thinking/listening skills • Ability to communicate with all levels of management • Ability to work independently • Detail oriented • Business-related post-graduate degree preferred and provides credit for one year of related experience • Managed Care or healthcare experience preferred • Knowledge of relational database software and/or business intelligence (BI) tools preferred but not required • CPA, CMA, AFP FP&A, or related certification preferred and provides credit for one year of related experience • May be required to travel occasionally • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
