📋 Description

• Analyzing healthcare utilization to identify patterns, variation, and outliers • Identifying and quantifying opportunities to reduce medical costs • Evaluating the effectiveness of medical cost reduction initiatives • Developing tools to compare market performance across products • Providing analysis and recommendations to inform provider performance improvement • Monitoring efficiency and efficacy of clinical programs • Supporting ad-hoc analytics requests from departments across the organization • Conducting root cause analyses of adverse population health outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics • Managed care experience preferred • Knowledge of healthcare data including medical and pharmacy claims, EMR data, HIE data, and demographic data • Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and other government sponsored healthcare programs preferred • Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint • Proficient with Transact-SQL, SAS, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau
