📋 Description

• Work within an integrated analytics and reporting environment delivering clinical, financial, operational, and research intelligence • Work with Epic and non-Epic tools, content, data sources, processes, and distribution methods • Prepare reports and dashboards for internal and external clients • Create reports and databases and develop products of minor or moderate complexity with supervision • Ensure completeness, correctness, consistency, security, and integrity of data and data structures • Coordinate validation and ensure solutions are tested against end-user workflows • Provide data acquisition, analysis, reporting, consulting, and training • Participate in reporting analysis, development, testing, documentation, and implementation across the software lifecycle • Adhere to change-management policies and processes • Identify technical requirements with clients • Document and maintain product summaries, diagrams, flow charts, and related documentation • Provide client-use and upgrade support for reporting and analytic products • Assist with automating manual processes • Deliver solutions from design through performance and support • Complete multiple assignments within given timeframes • Identify and resolve customer issues, escalating when appropriate • Complete annual professional development and required in-service education

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, or relevant work experience can be used in lieu of degree • Master's degree or PhD in a field indicating complex analytical thinking may be used in lieu of experience • Minimum of 1 year of experience with relational databases and data management required • Reporting experience required • Experience using Epic, SAP, and/or other business intelligence reporting tools required • Experience with benchmarking and/or data visualization tools strongly preferred • Experience with documentation, change control, and maintenance procedures for reporting and analytic products • Healthcare information technology experience preferred • Strong listening skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to understand and apply specification requirements to reporting and analytic tool development • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills • Detail-oriented, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Ability to analyze, diagnose, suggest, and implement process modifications • Strong customer service orientation and ability to follow issues through resolution • Ability to interact with people at all organizational levels and build consensus • Flexibility, versatility, and adaptability • Must protect patient and staff privacy and confidentiality
