📋 Description

• Collaborate with business owners to deliver timely, insightful analytics and data reporting solutions • Review requirements and documentation from Data Analysts and provide feedback on designs and solutions • Build data lakes and optimize ETL pipelines • Manage databases using SQL • Deliver work on client-specified weekly, monthly, and quarterly timeframes • Create ad hoc tools for quick-turnaround support • Maintain data integrity across energy efficiency programs • Troubleshoot data quality issues and communicate their impacts • Support ongoing custom report maintenance • Provide architectural guidance for cloud-based solutions • Design and deploy scalable analytics solutions integrating new features and data sources • Help modernize the team’s capabilities and development processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Data, Science, Math or related fields • Applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education • 2+ years with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, or an equivalent ETL tool • 2+ years of experience working with SQL Server, including query tuning, procedures/functions, and views • 2+ years of experience in SQL querying and scripting, including optimizing complex queries for performance and scalability • 2+ years of experience working with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau • Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check • Must be able to pass background checks including drug screenings • Microsoft Fabric experience strongly preferred • SSRS highly preferred • Experience in maintaining, supporting, and producing regular reporting deliverables for varied audiences preferred • Exposure to utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors preferred • Understanding of database structures, normalization, and data modeling • Experience modernizing legacy BI systems into cloud-based applications/platforms, including technical documentation and architectural diagrams • Experience using Fabric, Azure, Python, PySpark, and Hadoop preferred • Must have permanent work authorization in the U.S.
