📋 Description

• Distill datasets into recommendations with clear visualizations and concise talking points. • Scope and complete ad-hoc data requests about game mechanics, product, or user performance. • Build, document, and maintain easy-to-use and insightful dashboards and reusable analyses. • Partner with Game Operations and Product to address data, performance, and process gaps. • Enhance datasets to increase usability and ability to perform nuanced analysis and reporting. • Provide subject matter expertise on data, pricing, users, and game operations or mechanics. • Support PrizePicks, a Daily Fantasy Sports platform covering sports leagues including the NFL, NBA, and esports.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in statistics, finance, math, or business analysis. • Advanced technical experience with SQL, data visualization (e.g., Tableau), and Excel formulas. • Advanced experience in an analyst, gaming, consulting, finance, or data science role. • Extensive knowledge or experience in sports, gaming, DFS, pricing, trading, or finance. • Organized, reliable, curious, professional, communicative, and growth-oriented team player. • Demonstrated ability with data-driven critical thinking, problem-solving, and recommendations. • Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable. • Preferred: candidates based in Atlanta; qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. are considered. • Standout: experience playing or optimizing play at a competitive level within sports, DFS, or other games. • Standout: personal projects related to sports, gaming, trading, pricing, DFS, Prediction Markets, or finance. • Standout: knowledge or experience with Python, R, MATLAB, or other programming languages.
