📋 Description
• Performs core job responsibilities related to referrals, such as: scheduling, referral authorization and/or medical record maintenance. • Accountable for accurate and efficient coordination of care related to screening, diagnostic, or therapeutic testing, and consultative and therapeutic referral scheduling. • Ensures all referral requests are scheduled timely and in accordance with established procedures. • Communicates with management, clinical staff, and other internal and external customers. • Provides the highest level of customer service to patients, visitors, clinical staff and fellow employees.
🎯 Requirements
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education or equivalent 4 years of experience required. • Experience in Healthcare practice setting preferred. • Virginia MLTSS (UAI) Certification required to complete orientation and must be maintained throughout employment. • Advanced computer skills with knowledge of a variety of software programs, including Microsoft word, Excel, Access, word processing, spreadsheets and presentation or database software. • Excellent communications and organizational skills required.
