📋 Description

• Implement, modify, test, and administer revenue cycle system application modules • Develop, test, and maintain Epic Revenue Cycle modules and applications, Claims Manager, billing systems, interfaces, and related processes • Liaise with vendors, IT personnel, application analysts, management, and end users to resolve functionality and design questions • Assess end-user needs and recommend and document system or procedural changes • Develop standard, customized, ad hoc, and application report templates • Perform analytical tasks, documentation, testing, final analysis, team testing, and integrated testing • Identify system requirements and perform comparative analysis of system design against user requirements • Develop plans for small projects and support project planning • Maintain system parameter and reference tables, enhancement logs, and related records • Serve as first point of contact for revenue cycle end-user system issues • Research, document, and facilitate issue resolution and provide ongoing application support • Review, research, test, and facilitate system updates and perform user maintenance across multiple systems • Assist with development and testing of third-party billing charge files and master files • Research and utilize third-party software to create programming logic supporting operational processes • Draft reference materials and assist with training documentation • Provide 24 x 7 environment support and participate in on-call responsibilities • Adhere to and enforce Carle Foundation administrative and departmental policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Epic Certification within 2 months • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Revenue cycle work experience • Must have Epic Referrals experience • General knowledge of CPT, ICD codes, HCPCS, and HIPAA Transaction Code Sets • Ability to provide support for 24 x 7 environments • Participation in on-call responsibilities, including early morning and evening hours • Occasional weekend and holiday availability • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
