📋 Description

• Provide engineering design and support for security solutions for new and existing clients • Design and develop engineering solutions for complex system installations, upgrades, and enterprise-level conversions • Maintain expertise in electronic security technologies including ACS, IDS, FDS, and CCTV, plus databases, server hardware, and networking • Scrub Bills of Materials to verify equipment compatibility and accuracy before procurement • Create and manage wiring diagrams, programming sheets, and device schedules • Create or collaborate with the CAD Department on floor plans, riser drawings, and detail drawings • Create comprehensive As-Built documentation and O&M manuals for client hand-off • Lead and track Requests for Information to resolve technical discrepancies during construction • Facilitate technical documentation for local permitting and industry compliance • Provide high-level technical support to field teams troubleshooting installation challenges • Support adoption and documentation of next-generation technologies such as biometrics, radar, and anti-drone systems • Maintain familiarity with vendors including Genetec, Lenel, and Milestone and emerging security trends • Coordinate with internal teams, external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3–7 years of previous experience in the industry • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred; applicable experience may substitute for the educational background • Experience designing and planning access control and video systems • Professional Electronic Security Certifications or training (Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Milestone, etc.) preferred • Ability to manage time and multiple tasks without supervision • Organizational skills and attention to detail • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent presentation, writing, verbal, and written customer communication skills • Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe preferred • Microsoft Project, Visio, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, or Revit is a plus
