📋 Description

• Answer, schedule, and complete pre-registration documentation for patient and provider inquiries • Follow up on inquiries received by telephone, internet-based, or written/electronic correspondence • Educate patients and providers about insurance, providers, departments/locations, payment options, and Carle services • Obtain, update, and verify patient demographics, insurance, emergency contacts, co-pays, and primary physicians in the HIS system • Answer telephones, transcribe and deliver messages to physicians, nurses, and others • Accurately and promptly report medical information from patients and referring physicians • Distribute messages according to practice communication standards • Facilitate communication among schedulers, providers, and patients • Schedule and pre-register patients

🎯 Requirements

• Must have Radiology experience • Customer service work experience • Ability to accurately screen, schedule, and document patient and provider inquiries • Ability to use the HIS system to obtain, update, and verify patient demographics, insurance, emergency contacts, co-pays, and primary physicians • Ability to accurately report medical information • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00–4:30 • No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
