📋 Description

• Collaborate with end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner, making corrective configuration or enhancements as needed • Work closely with Patient Access users to design, build, and improve scheduling, registration, admission, authorization, and patient throughput workflows • Lead medium to large complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives or workflow enhancements, including design, build, and test phases • Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Patient Access modules and workflows • Participate in design and validation sessions, ensuring appropriate documentation, follow-up, and issue escalation • Identify system optimization and enhancement opportunities, collaborating with vendors and IT analysts to design and implement effective solutions • Configure and build visit types, work queues, registration forms, referral templates, and provider records • Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software • Support application incidents reported through the help desk, including 24/7 on-call coverage as required • Work with trainers to develop and maintain application-specific training curriculum and materials • Mentor team members on Epic functionality, workflows, documentation, best practices, and change management • Facilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements through final implementation • Troubleshoot and/or resolve application issues, escalating more complex issues as appropriate • Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control • Develop strong relationships with end-user communities, customers, and business partners • Attend, participate in, and contribute to meetings throughout the facility.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years healthcare experience • Active/current Epic certification in Cadence • 4+ years of direct client healthcare domain knowledge, such as patient flow, scheduling, registration, Real Time Eligibility, and Insurance Verification • 4+ years of Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in relevant applications • Decision Tree experience
