📋 Description

• Lead enterprise healthcare clients in building, optimizing, and maturing Project Management Offices from initial assessment through full operational maturity • Lead Epic implementations end-to-end from project initiation through go-live and stabilization • Drive EHR, Revenue Cycle, and ancillary system implementations with PMO-level governance, RAID tracking, milestone management, and go-live readiness • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and IT leadership on program execution, project prioritization, and decision-making • Own portfolio-wide planning, reporting cadences, and executive steering committee preparation • Coach and develop client-side project managers and team leads • Apply PMP-level governance, risk and issue management, change control, resource planning, and quality assurance frameworks • Operate across academic medical centers, community hospitals, integrated delivery networks, physician groups, and payers • Build long-term relationships with healthcare IT leaders through exceptional delivery • Stay engaged with client stakeholders between active engagements • Identify expansion and follow-on opportunities and communicate signals to VP leadership • Support RFP responses, pitch materials, and pursuit decks • Engage at HIMSS, Becker's Healthcare, Epic UGM, Oracle Health Summit, and PMI chapter events • Maintain an active LinkedIn presence reflecting healthcare IT expertise • Log contacts, conversations, and opportunity signals in Salesforce • Contribute to RFP responses and provide practitioner input • Build and refine PMO practice frameworks, delivery templates, and quality standards • Lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions and training initiatives • Interview candidates and assess PM competency • Partner with the VP of PMO on practice strategy, service line evolution, and team development

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years Healthcare IT experience • 3–5+ years PMO or client-facing consulting experience • 3+ full Epic implementations as primary lead • PMP certified or in active pursuit • C-suite executive presence • Relationship-driven BD instincts • Salesforce or equivalent CRM proficiency • 50–60% billable utilization • Regular travel required • Bachelor's degree in related field • Master's degree (MHA or MBA) preferred • PgMP, PMI-ACP, ITIL, or Prosci/ADKAR preferred • RFP, pitch deck, or thought leadership experience preferred • Managed Services familiarity preferred • Active LinkedIn and PMI involvement preferred
