📋 Description

• Drive transformation and innovation for software-defined energy solutions at Carrier • Develop strategic roadmaps for embedded control systems, IoT platforms, cloud energy solutions, applications, and energy orchestration software stacks • Translate B2B customer needs into valuable, usable, feasible, and commercially viable requirements • Collaborate with business development and go-to-market teams to ensure solution ROI • Define system architecture for energy management, demand response, user interfaces, and grid integration • Work with federated architects across engineering and digital • Partner with Research and Design to conduct qualitative and quantitative research • Oversee design, implementation, and validation of the Energy Operating System for performance, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance • Deliver an integrated IoT and orchestration stack spanning real-time controller hardware/software, grid integration, and mobile app UX • Integrate energy features into Carrier homeowner and channel cloud tools and applications • Ensure cybersecurity compliance across energy solutions • Build external-partner relationships and lead technical integration with utility companies • Use AI-driven predictive analytics to optimize efficiency, customer insights, energy forecasting, and demand response • Optimize cloud infrastructure for large-scale data aggregation, monitoring, and control systems • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, developers, and analysts • Manage timelines, budgets, and milestones to align projects with business objectives • Build relationships with cross-functional senior leaders • Develop talent and strengthen innovation and execution in the energy market

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 10+ years of experience in IoT, cloud, applications, energy systems, or grid integration • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in large-scale technology and energy projects • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, energy systems, or a related field (preferred) • Demonstrated success in launching new products to market (preferred) • Expertise in AI and data analytics (preferred) • Strong knowledge of demand response, energy orchestration, and grid management (preferred) • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills (preferred) • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in a global organization (preferred) • Experience with electric utility regulations, certification bodies, and standards related to the electric utility space (preferred)
