📋 Description

• Analyze incoming Data Center trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs • Translate trends and customer needs into a differentiated products and solutions strategy • Derive system architecture and system and sub-system technical requirements • Drive product solutions supporting a strategic, customer-centric product portfolio optimized across regions • Work closely with customers and industry partners to support growth in the Data Center segment • Establish key priorities in workflow processes • Oversee execution of resource allocations to optimize strategy and implementation • Initially lead teams in a matrix organization without direct reports • Collect and analyze emerging trends in Data Center build and operation • Assess customer needs, including hyperscalers and colocation providers, and understand competitors’ technical solutions • Evaluate product/system differentiation combining HVAC equipment and controls and analyze trade-offs • Define solution architecture and derive system-level requirements • Break down system technical requirements into subsystem technical requirements • Drive enterprise-level design synergies through global platforms and solutions • Collaborate with customers, product management, and global stakeholders to align technical requirements and create scalable, cost-efficient solutions • Foster stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and successful implementation of Data Center projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline • 10+ years of systems engineering experience • 8+ years of industry experience working with Data Center customers on cooling system solutions • Masters in an Engineering or Industrial field such as Systems Engineering (preferred) • Familiarity with industrial business models for HVAC, preferably in a Data Center business environment (preferred) • Proven track record of building trusted relationships cross-functionally and managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/initiatives and ability to make decisions with conviction (preferred) • Ability to solve complex problems using and finding alternate paths to achieve objectives in a highly constrained and fast-paced environment (preferred)
