📋 Description

• Participate in startup and commissioning of new units at a state-of-the-art facility • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions • Execute regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units • Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents, including blueprints and diagrams • Cultivate strong customer relationships • Escalate issues for resolution when necessary • Adhere to licensing requirements and operate equipment safely • Recognize HVAC-related hazards, complete safety training, and implement effective safety measures • Deliver efficient and dependable cooling solutions for data centers • Work independently and as part of a team on installations, repairs, and maintenance projects

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Valid Driver’s License • EPA Universal certification • 5+ years working experience in the HVAC Industry • 3+ years working with centrifugal chillers • Ability to lift 50 lbs • Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat, climb ladders, and work on rooftops for extended periods • OSHA 30 Certification valued, but not required • Experience on Carrier, Trane, and Diken air-cooled and water-cooled centrifugal chillers valued, but not required • Basic understanding of building automation controls (BOMAC) valued, but not required • Experience with data centers valued, but not required • Experience with steam turbines valued, but not required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills valued, but not required • Knowledge of ServiceMax valued, but not required • Strong working knowledge of 19XR, 30CF, and CDU chillers • Knowledge of air-side systems (constant volume, VAV) • Knowledge of water-side systems (hot water, chilled water, condenser water)
