📋 Description

• Perform general accounting functions and analyses using GAAP procedures • Perform daily bank reconciliations and record bank activities in the general ledger • Prepare monthly journal entries and detailed balance sheet account reconciliations • Manage internal and external wire transfers • Review, analyze, and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts during month-end close • Assist with quarterly and year-end audits • Maintain financial security by following internal controls and company policies • Interact with other departments to resolve issues • Record fair value adjustments, interest rate lock entries, and monthly hedging activity for the MLD Division • Reconcile lending-related revenue and expense accounts and warehouse line cash and liability accounts • Coordinate with Treasury and lending operations to validate funding, sales, and fees • Prepare quarterly reports • Reconcile title-related revenue, expense, cost, cash, and pass-through accounts for the Vylla Division • Validate title fees, pass-through activity, and received amounts

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent practical experience • Three (3) to five (5) years of general accounting/finance experience required • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel • Knowledge of Oracle ERP accounting software preferred • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written • Ability to communicate effectively • Must work PST zone hours • Prefer candidates that live on the West Coast • Knowledge of US GAAP procedures • Ability to perform duties in accordance with applicable US state and federal laws and regulations
