đź“‹ Description

• Lead the development and execution of Medical Affairs strategy • Set medical strategy and partner cross-functionally • Collaborate with Commercial, Managed Markets, and Clinical Development teams • Increase awareness of marketed product(s) • Develop a cross-functionally aligned set of medical strategies • Build a Medical Affairs plan with specific medical tactics • Lead and oversee the Medical Science Liaison team • Provide proactive clinical trial support • Maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders • Provide appropriate feedback to upper management

🎯 Requirements

• MD degree is required • 5-10 years Clinical practice (health care provider experience) • 5-10 years of clinical research, pharmacy, life science, pharma industry/academic-related experience • Experience of 5+ years in Global or US HQ/Field Medical Affairs • Knowledge of biostatistics and epidemiology • Understanding of the pharmaceutical corporate environment • Strong broad-based scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to lead and motivate team members without direct authority • Previous launch experience managing Medical Affairs projects • Sound computer skills including word processing, slide development, and spreadsheets • Ability and willingness to travel at least 60% of workdays
