📋 Description

• Lead and build Cherry Bekaert’s AI Center of Excellence from inception • Define the organizational structure, recruit the team, establish the operating model, and deliver the first wave of production AI workflows within six months • Own the Firm’s AI production strategy across Tax, Assurance, Advisory, and Wealth Management • Direct the Production Track in shipping reusable prompt libraries, Claude skills, workflow templates, and integration patterns • Activate and sustain the Coordination Track with AI Training and Use Case + ROI leads • Build and manage an AI Ambassador network of 12 to 20 professionals • Establish AI governance policies with the AI Governance Council • Translate AI production outcomes into executive-ready business cases and demonstrate ROI • Monitor the competitive AI landscape and identify opportunities to accelerate the Firm’s AI maturity • Collaborate with Information Security, Legal, and Compliance on responsible AI, data privacy, and regulatory alignment • Manage the CoE budget, vendor relationships, and platform licensing • Represent the Firm’s AI capabilities at industry events, recruiting channels, and peer forums • Lead, coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to the AI CoE team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field • 12+ years of progressive technology and AI experience • Five or more years in leadership roles directing AI strategy, production, or adoption programs • Demonstrated experience standing up and scaling an AI program in a professional services, consulting, or knowledge-work environment • Experience building teams, governance models, and production workflows from a blank slate • Working knowledge of AI governance frameworks, including risk tiering, use case classification, responsible AI principles, and regulatory compliance • Ability to collaborate across Technology, Tax, Assurance, Advisory, Wealth Management, and corporate functions in a matrixed environment • Prior experience building an AI function at a professional services, consulting, or knowledge-work firm strongly preferred • Master’s degree preferred • Eligibility to work in the United States • Cherry Bekaert will not provide work sponsorship
