📋 Description

• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues in the production ACAS environment for the Department of the Air Force • Perform troubleshooting, document SOPs, and collaborate on issue identification and resolution strategies to resolve tickets • Troubleshoot vulnerability remediation, plug-in/protocol errors, credentials/firewall issues, service certificate issues, patching, and data feeds • Maintain the health of the ACAS environment, including Nessus, Nessus Manager, Nessus Agents, Log Correlation Engine, Nessus Network Monitor, and Security Center across Linux/Unix and Windows environments • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices • Develop and implement strategies to reduce future engineering issues • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address root-cause findings and implement remediation plans • Document and report ticket statuses in ServiceNow at least every other day • Develop, improve, and maintain the Tenable Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) • Work with Azure Cloud, Red Hat Linux, Tenable ACAS software solutions, and scripting languages including Python and PowerShell • Develop and implement process and practice improvements • Develop automation scripts and code efficiencies • Work with the Engineering Resolution Lead Engineer, ACAS Solution Architect, Chief Architect, and Chief Engineer; report to the ACAS Project Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Must have an active Secret security clearance • 10+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience) • 7 years of experience with ACAS Solutions; Tenable preferred with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience • 3 years of experience deploying, automating, and hardening Red Hat Linux Operating Systems • 1 year of experience supporting the Department of Defense • Excellent communication skills with experience briefing internal project team members and DAF stakeholders • CISSP or equivalent DoD 8140 Certification Compliance certification • Experience with cloud technologies and services, such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud • Experience with Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages as necessary • Experience with Tenable software solutions for ACAS • Experience with Azure Cloud and Red Hat Linux • Ability to pass Department of the Air Force internal Gate Reviews without rejection • Ability to update active ENG queue tickets at least every 2 days • Ability to white-board solutions ad hoc with the project team without referencing existing solution materials • Ability to implement one process improvement per quarter
