📋 Description

• Provide video/audio visits with patients requiring expert intervention in diabetes and/or weight management • Work directly with patients alongside Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCES) and obesity-certified clinicians • Oversee patient care by providing direct consultations • Supervise care delivered by non-physician clinicians through case review meetings • Guide clinicians in appropriate medication adjustments and titration • Support patients on diabetes therapies, including oral medications, injectables, and insulin • Support patients using diabetes technologies, including pumps, CGM, connected pens, and apps • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• MD or DO degree required • Active MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) license in at least one state • Board Certification • Active DEA license • Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team • Strong computer skills • Expertise with supporting patients on diabetes therapies (orals, injectables, insulin, etc.) • Expertise with supporting patients on diabetes technologies (pumps, CGM, connected pens, apps, etc.) • Proficient with EMR platforms and medical billing
