📋 Description

• Conduct intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education via phone, video, chat, text, and email • Provide medication management and support for obesity-related comorbidities under assigned physician supervision • Engage in remote patient monitoring using scales, blood glucose meters, blood pressure monitors, ketone meters, and other devices • Support dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications within established protocols • Collaborate with team physicians and external providers to ensure comprehensive care • Establish rapport and therapeutic alliances with a diverse patient population • Use motivational interviewing and other behavior-change techniques • Meet program metrics while maintaining high-quality care standards • Complete required documentation promptly

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration • Must hold state licensure when required • Willingness and ability to add state licenses as needed to support member coverage • HIPAA-friendly workspace with high-speed internet • Comfortable with advanced technology, electronic medical records, and digital tools • Ability to adapt communication techniques for a diverse patient population • Flexible schedule with commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week • Cannot hold full-time employment elsewhere • Must live in the United States • CDCES certification from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators strongly preferred • Availability on evenings and Saturdays preferred
