📋 Description

• Monitor and respond to security events and execute response actions, including documentation • Manage security events through fast resolution • Continuously monitor SIEM alerts and tune identification and response rules • Create new rules based on trending cyber-attack methods and business threat strategy • Perform threat hunting activities • Generate vulnerability management reports using vulnerability scanning tools • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure vulnerability remediation progress • Generate reports for IT administrators, business managers, and security leaders to evaluate security policies and controls • Advise and implement changes to counter attacks or improve security standards • Automate security processes • Document incidents for incident response and disaster recovery plans • Perform internal and external security audits

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Tier 2 Cyber Threat Analyst • Security+ or CEH certification • Proven experience with SIEM (Rules, Parsing, Correlation, Investigation) • Proven experience with Playbook implementation (e.g. Palo Alto XSOAR) • Proven experience with Threat Hunting • Familiarity with Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK methodologies • Experience with multi-cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP topology, network protocols, Active Directory, and file permissions • Experience with network and security systems, endpoint devices, EDR, firewalls, Windows, Linux, and Mac • Experience writing incident response reports • Scripting knowledge in PowerShell and Python • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels • Team-oriented, organized, structured, and detail-oriented • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance
