📋 Description

• Convey professional oral and written communication with physician offices • Communicate and document clarification requests and follow-up, including documenting progress in Pathpoint Rx • Answer and resolve internal inquiries within committed timeframes • Make outbound calls to physician offices to request prescription refills and updates on pending prescription clarification requests • Receive written prescription clarifications or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate • Comply with applicable policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations • Understand the physical, psychological, and social challenges of specific disease states • Assist patients and Pharmacy Care Coordinators with drug therapy and pharmacy care issues • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Broad training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations, generally obtained through a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education • Three years of experience in a healthcare-related call center, pharmacy physician's office, or social service environment • Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy required • Strong oral and written communication skills • Computer literacy with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access • Strong time management and organizational skills • Initiative, professional demeanor, and positive attitude • Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly • Self-motivated and proactive • Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative • Must reside in Kentucky or Southern Indiana
