📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all Oracle database issues • Manage operations, installation, and performance of SAP and non-SAP Oracle database landscapes • Work with infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems • Manage database performance, capacity planning, and tuning • Coordinate software consistency across the Oracle landscape • Participate in IT Change Management and validate or approve Oracle database changes • Monitor developments and future trends in database technology • Collaborate with internal and external customers to define infrastructure architecture • Support projects affecting the Oracle database landscape • Interface with Oracle for product support and questions • Define solutions, identify requirements, and write functional specifications • Advise on options, risks, costs, benefits, and impacts on business processes and priorities • Perform related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent • Minimum of seven (7) years directly related and progressively responsible experience in leading architecture design and implementation • Experience with Oracle RAC installation and support • Experience with implementation, operating, and performance management of Enterprise systems on Oracle Databases • Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle Advanced Compression, Oracle Identity Management, and Oracle Enterprise Manager tools is a plus • Experience working with third-party bolt-on applications including Vendavo, StreamServe, and EDI • Certification preferred • Travel estimated at 15%
